Immortal Dreams Haunt Mianyang City

With a heart full of questions, Lin Xiao enters a mysterious mountain valley. As she learns to raise silkworms and reel silk in the valley, Lin Xiao proves herself capable, but remains determined to uncover why she came here and what secrets the valley holds. By chance, she discovers ancient murals in a cave that match the legends of Leizu’s tomb in Mianyang. One mural depicts a woman who looks just like her casting immortal spells. Just then, Mo Yu, who claims to be the guardian of the Valley of the Silkworm Immortals, appears. Mo Yu tells Lin Xiao that she is the reborn remnant of Ling Xuan, an immortal who died a thousand years ago while sealing an evil demon, and that the seal is now showing signs of weakening. Lin Xiao has been entrusted with the mission of destroying the demon. Lin Xiao devotes herself to mastering immortal arts and helps the valley’s sericulture industry flourish. Before long, the demon breaks through its seal, bringing the valley to the brink of disaster. Lin Xiao and Mo Yu join forces to fight it. Though they face many hardships, including the demon’s interfering miasma, their combined strength and Lin Xiao’s understanding of immortal arts allow them to seal it once more. After this battle, Lin Xiao’s standing in the valley grows ever more important. Knowing that challenges still lie ahead, she resolves to continue protecting the valley and preserving Mianyang’s sericulture traditions. Her story with the valley is far from over.
