Synopsis

No System, one heroine, a dark, villainous protagonist who kills without hesitation. (The first two volumes are about getting out of the beginner's village and raising the capital to get started. The real war begins in Volume Three.) The slaves in the arena rise up in rebellion. The lowly demons flee the kingdom. A cunning schemer establishes himself. A fearsome demon army breaches the city walls. The great Demon King takes his place in his loyal imperial capital. Upon waking, a transmigrator from China feels as if the sky has fallen on him. The good news: he was hit by a truck but survived, and even transmigrated. The bad news: he starts out as an arena slave, and his first gladiatorial bout is about to begin. Donald McGaden Kahn, a half-demon, relies on his wits, strength, and a little luck to climb step by step to the top and ascend the throne of the Demon King. “I’ll make the demon race great again!” Years later, the human kingdoms summon a hero in a bid to turn the tables. But just after reaching the demon border, he is subdued and deported by demon soldiers for not having an ID. Some Hero: “Wait, this isn’t how the story is supposed to go!”
