The Showdown

On the eve of the Spring Festival, the top official of Lianhua County, Secretary JW, mysteriously disappeared. Twenty days later, the director of the GA Bureau was killed while pursuing criminals. The case drew the close attention of departments at every level, which issued instructions: solve the case as soon as possible and identify the mastermind. It was also designated Lin Gui Province’s top priority case and a case requiring special supervision. Lin Gui Province accordingly formed a task force. During the investigation, no matter who was implicated or how high their position, anyone who violated Party discipline or the law had to be investigated to the very end, overcoming every obstacle and showing no leniency.
