Uncle, I Know I Was Wrong

When Wen Shuyu was eighteen, her mother died, her father ran off with the family's money, and Wen Shuyu was in her final year of high school.

Mu Yunzhi, who wasn't related to her at all, took custody of her.

Wen Shuyu was so obedient that sometimes it was heartbreaking. When Mu Yunzhi returned from a business trip, she didn't find the well-behaved girl studying at home. Instead, she found Wen Shuyu working part-time at a bar.

Rarely losing her temper, Mu Yunzhi scolded the girl in front of bosses from all walks of life. “Didn't I tell you that if you were going to work, you had to let me know? I would have found you a job. What are you doing?”

The girl said nothing.

So Mu Yunzhi, who was in the habit of smoking, put down her cigarette for the first time and made the girl recite her phone number in front of all those bosses.

After all, Mu Yunzhi's number was something countless people had begged for and never gotten.

“You can ignore my messages on WeChat, that's fine. But from now on, if I call and you don't answer even once, you'll write my phone number over and over until your hand falls off.”

“Wen Shuyu! I'm telling you, I'm going to teach you a lesson today!”

Blurb: I never meant to save you, but I did mean to get close to you.

Setup: A timid girl living under someone else's roof, and an unrelated uncle who does everything he can to help her escape the mire.
