The Siheyuan That Began in 1946

Cao Cao-style scheming + multiple women + pocket space + weak System + low-key courtyard drama + multiple plotlines + no brainless decisions. Cao Jiaren transmigrated to 1946 and, through a twist of fate, became a target of the Nationalist Party: a party member, a secret police agent, a big capitalist, a relative of old bureaucrats, someone with foreign connections, and a man with a messy romantic life, with every possible liability stacked against him. Yet he still thinks he can be salvaged and wants to stay on the mainland to build a new world.
