Yang Tian, an office worker, died by accident while rescuing a child from drowning. His soul was reborn in the Primordial world among the human race. In his new life, Yang Tian was resolute and strong-willed, yearning for power and the unknown. Xuandu was one of the three thousand innate humans created by Nuwa when she attained sainthood. Refined and ambitious, Xuandu set out with Yang Tian to seek the Dao. Xuandu became a disciple of Laozi, while Yang Tian joined the Jie Sect as an outer disciple.
After joining the sect, Yang Tian trained diligently in the Nine Transformations of Profound Art and the Shangqing Sword Art, enduring pain and trials. In the course of his cultivation, he grew close to Xuandu, who often reminisced about Nuwa’s attainment of sainthood and the beauty of the Light Realm. After the Light Realm disappeared, the human race began to fend for itself. Yang Tian and Xuandu joined them, facing hardship alongside their people.
Yang Tian continued to break through in his cultivation, distinguishing himself in disciple trials and sect tournaments until his fame spread far and wide. Then came the great tournament of the Three Teachings, where elite disciples from every sect gathered. Representing the Jie Sect, Yang Tian faced formidable opponents and relied on his unyielding will and superb techniques to overcome danger. But his success also stirred envy and brought new threats. In the end, with help from his companions and elders, Yang Tian fused his techniques, overcame his obstacles, and reached new heights, becoming a pillar of the human race.
