Espionage in the Dabie Mountains

In 1942, the New Fourth Army entered the Dabie Mountains region of central Anhui, where it engaged in a battle of wits with the Japanese and their puppet forces, waging a campaign of espionage and counterespionage. The story follows Liu Shaohua, commander of a reconnaissance company, and Wang Feng, who is working undercover within enemy ranks. With the support of the Party organization and the people, they complete one mission after another assigned by the Party, rooting out enemy agents hidden in their base areas and keeping those areas safe.
