The New Era of Advanced Martial Arts

The world was shrouded in a haze of chaos. The development of human civilization had overexploited Earth's resources. Global warming grew increasingly severe, temperatures kept climbing, the polar ice caps melted rapidly, and sea levels rose sharply. Coastal cities were the first to be swallowed by surging waters, and the landmass steadily shrank. At the same time, viruses long ignored by humanity began to mutate and spread wildly in the warm, humid environment. Plagues ran rampant, and people struggled amid sickness and despair. Worse still, humanity's misuse of nuclear energy triggered a series of disasters. Nuclear facilities were damaged one after another by natural and man-made calamities. Nuclear contamination and radiation reached out like the merciless tentacles of demons, spreading across every inch of land. Under the effects of radiation, the genes of living things began to twist. Humanity's population plummeted in this apocalyptic catastrophe, bringing the species ever closer to extinction. By contrast, animals across the Earth began undergoing astonishing changes under the influence of a mysterious force. Their bodies grew rapidly, their strength became immense, and their intelligence continued to rise. The animals once caged and hunted by humans now had the flames of vengeance burning in their eyes. They formed vast armies and attacked humanity's last remaining settlements. Before these enormous, ferocious beasts, humans seemed pathetically small and fragile. Humanity faced a crisis unlike any before.
