Siheyuan: Studio Head, Starting with Drawing Sword

Qin Ming wakes up to find that he's transmigrated to the 1950s, into the world of Love in the Courtyard. As a film studio employee, he's taken a private job screening movies at the steel mill. While the other projectionists are showing The Bridge, Glorious Families, and Marching Forward Together, Qin Ming decides to take a different approach and give the workers of the 1950s a real shock! The Eight Hundred is the one. It's decided! At first, the workers think it's just an ordinary war-of-resistance film, but the more they watch, the stranger it gets... Its lines are instantly unforgettable: Hey, you're one hell of a talent! Battalion Commander, where's your Italian cannon? The workers are all moved to tears. “Cavalry Company! Attack!!!” Director Wang from the Publicity Department is losing it too. “I told you to show a film about hard work and perseverance! What the hell is this Independent Regiment?” “It's all about hard work and perseverance. Showing a resistance-war movie makes perfect sense, doesn't it?” From then on, a projectionist famous from north to south bursts onto the scene.
