The Wasteland, 1970

In an alternate fictional world, a mysterious relic on Greenland exploded in 1976. In its aftermath, the Iron Curtain collapsed and the Cold War intensified. Private military contractors led by the “Iron-Blooded” Doll Company, along with some factions of the U.S. military, launched a civil war. From Alaska’s snowy wastes to the vast, desolate deserts of New Mexico, the Iron-Blooded war machine spread the flames of war across most of North America. As the front lines ground to a stalemate and the U.S. military proved unable to counterattack, the Soviet Union officially intervened in the American Civil War at the U.S. government’s request.
