Battle Wounds

The Soviet Union did not collapse in 1991. Instead, by relying on mysterious technology beneath the Antarctic ice, it successfully developed android technology. This technology was kept under tight wraps, but despite the efforts of various secret organizations, android technology somehow became “commonplace.” However, androids made using this technology alone had no concept of “self.”

Later research successfully developed consciousness transfer and mind-module technology, but the materials for mind modules were extremely scarce, and only about a quarter of androids could use them successfully.

These androids were known as tactical dolls and were usually deployed as special forces.

The remaining androids underwent consciousness transfer, acquiring the minds of soldiers who would die in the future through special portals. They then carried out missions alongside the small number of tactical dolls equipped with mind modules.

Alyosha and Anna were the two most outstanding androids.
