A Journey to Love: You Madman, I’m Not Your Master

[Continuation of the Plot + OOC Warning + One-on-One, Both Pure + Substitute Romance + The Pursuit of a Lost Love] This is a continuation of the story, with some original backstory and an original heroine. She has little to do with the main cast, and Li Tongguang’s characterization may differ from the show. He may be out of character. This is not a female-led empowerment story, so please don’t read it if that’s not your thing. Thank you. Original heroine Shen Yin × unhinged regent Li Tongguang Her master told her that her older sister had been killed by Li Tongguang, the regent of the An Kingdom. Shen Yin believed him and traveled a thousand miles to avenge her sister. She heard that the regent preferred men. To infiltrate his manor, Shen Yin disguised herself as a man and deliberately staged an accident to get close to him. But she never expected Li Tongguang to actually fall for it. What a pervert! It didn’t take long for Shen Yin to realize that Li Tongguang had seen through her disguise from the start. Later, he coaxed her softly time and again, and she fell deeper and deeper. Just as Shen Yin thought she had met the man meant for her, someone suddenly doused her with a bucket of cold water. She was told that Li Tongguang treated her well only because she looked vaguely like his master, sharing about half her features. No wonder! No wonder! No wonder he always made her call him by his childhood name, Jiu’er, whenever they made love in bed. It was because that was what the other person called him. In an instant, she understood everything. Heartbroken, she left the manor without hesitation. But Li Tongguang grabbed her and pulled her into his arms, pleading in a low, broken voice, “Master, don’t go! Don’t leave Jiu’er behind!” Shen Yin snapped, “You lunatic! I’m not your master!!!”
