Synopsis

After being bound to the System, Chen Yu learns that spiritual qi is about to revive and a world-ending calamity is coming. As one of the chosen, she must shoulder the responsibility of saving the world. For example... Playing videos for the great primordial beings sealed beyond the world barrier. Chen Yu: ? Am I crazy, or are you? The System replies: It’s not that I don’t want to give you a more impressive mission, but you can’t handle anything more than this. So just be a good tool and do your job. After much thought, Chen Yu realizes there’s not much she can do against such power. She decides to take things as they come for now, casually opens a search engine, and clicks on a beloved classic... The Legend of Nezha. What neither she nor the System knows is that, due to temporal interference, the images broadcast by the System are also being transmitted to other parallel worlds. And so, Zixiao Palace, Wa Palace, Chaoge, Qishan, Flower-Fruit Mountain, Three Star Cave, Chang’an in the Tang dynasty... Mortals and immortals alike witness a screen suddenly appear in the sky after the clouds roil. 【Before You Read】【1. My knowledge of the primordial world is limited to the more popular settings. I’m not part of any fandom, so I don’t know its derivative lore. This is a primordial-world story, not a historical one, and the evolution of mythology isn’t the focus.】【2. I love stories where characters watch and read things. I’ve read myself sick of historical ones, but nobody writes about the primordial world, and I was dying for some, so I’m making do with this little morsel.】【3. The planned viewing material currently includes Little Nezha, Investiture of the Gods, Journey to the West, and Lotus Lantern.】【4. There may be some scenes set in the real world. After all, this has a spiritual qi revival premise, and it wouldn’t feel right not to include them. If you don’t like them, just skip ahead!】【5. The female lead has no romantic pairing.】【6. If you have recommendations for movies, TV shows, or novels about gods and demons, come on over!】
