Infinite Transmigration: I'm a Bit Player in Horror Worlds

Su Ku was a corporate drone who’d graduated three years ago. He died suddenly after staying up all night rushing a manuscript, then got bound to a quick transmigration System and sent to play bit parts in various horror variety shows, movies, and novels. When everyone else was being hunted by vengeful ghosts, he was the only one holding a peachwood sword, grinning so ominously that the ghosts clutched their heads and ran for their lives. During a game of Ouija, he casually told the spirit to come visit him in the middle of the night. He had some business to discuss with it. The spirit actually showed up, only to be so terrified that it fled over the bed in tears. When the System woke up, it was stunned by its Host’s outrageous antics. It begged him to follow the plot and do his job as an NPC. Su Ku replied, utterly unrepentant, that he’d completed all the assigned tasks, hadn’t he? The System looked at the Grim Reaper tied to a chair, then at Satan chained to a pillar, and finally at its minor-character Host, seated on Satan’s throne with the male lead’s two Saintess guardians standing behind him. The System’s sanity completely shattered. It cried out, “I only asked you to deliver equipment to the protagonist and serve as cannon fodder! I didn’t tell you to drive the protagonist insane, torment the villains, and do the villains’ jobs for them!” Su Ku folded his arms and said to the System, “Just tell me if I finished the job.” The System sobbed as it filed an urgent report overnight, asking to change departments and Hosts.
