The Starship Chang'an

The Three-Body Problem + Pacific Rim + The Wandering Earth + Devourer + The Poetry Cloud There will always be fallen civilizations that want to destroy the universe. When advanced civilizations lose their potential for further development, they try to limit how far all other civilizations in the universe can advance. This is the story of the Pan-Multiverse Huaxia United Front Alliance’s Fourth Xia Civilization, and its Dimension and Cosmic String Maintenance and Correction Expeditionary Fleet. Luo Chang’an, captain of the ordinary neutron-star-class battleship Chang’an, and Luoshu, its Level 6 artificial intelligence, are entrusted with a mission at a time of crisis. They travel through countless universes, joining forces with local Huaxia civilizations to save them. During the Chang’an’s retirement voyage ceremony, a sudden dimensional disturbance sends the ship and Luo Chang’an, a new scientist at the Federal Academy of Sciences, into a new parallel universe. After surveying it, the ship discovers that this universe’s dimensions are collapsing and the universe is on the brink of destruction. Once the Chang’an receives a high-dimensional transmission from its home world, it sets out to save the universe. As its technology advances, it journeys to one parallel universe after another, saving them one by one. The most important purpose of this journey is to explore whether the universe gave rise to civilization or civilization created the universe, and to fight the law of entropy increase.
