The Promise of Autumn Maple

[A lazy, secretly passionate and handsome older brother, and a cool, beautiful younger sister with a rebellious streak] This book is also known as My Overbearing Brother Loves Me Too Much Shen Yangche happened upon a yellowed note inside a clown doll. It read: “That day, when I looked at you, I suddenly wished you didn't see me as your little sister.” Cheng Xi liked Shen Yangche for six years, then gave up halfway. On the first day of school, Cheng Xi rescued a makeshift older brother from a shabby alley. The next day, this makeshift brother became her neighbor. She was rebellious to the core and insisted on going against him. Then one day, that rebellious streak suddenly took on a different meaning. When they meet again, Shen Yangche suddenly acts strangely, probing her little by little and teasing her. One day, he suddenly asks, “What kind of guy does our little Xi like?” Cheng Xi answers, “Someone who doesn't like me.” One day, Shen Yangche pins the slightly tipsy Cheng Xi down and murmurs seductively, “But I happen to like you.”
