I Entered a Period Drama and Clung to the Disabled Officer

[Entirely fictional setting + period story + raising twins + devoted husband + marriage before love + everyday family life + food and entrepreneurship] Jiang Rong was just idly reading an 1980s novel when she transmigrated into a book, right into the scene where the heroine has failed to elope, jumped into a river to kill herself, been rescued, and is now facing her disabled military-officer husband’s insistence on divorce. Her husband is a handsome officer with a great physique, even though he’s blind. Divorce is out of the question. The man’s got a great waist, after all! With their son and daughter in tow, Jiang Rong shamelessly clings to her cold, proud officer husband now and then, trying to win back his heart. Until her own waist can’t take it anymore and she cries, “I want to sleep separately!” Lu Li discovers that ever since his wife woke up after jumping into the river, she’s become a completely different person. She doesn’t mind that he’s blind, and she takes devoted care of their two children. She’s gentle and considerate toward both him and the kids, as well as hardworking and capable. Lu Li had been set on divorcing her. But when he sees the green hat glowing above his head, then looks at his sweet, gentle wife, clever children, and harmonious family life, he suddenly feels that the green hat on his head might not matter so much after all. (The main couple remain faithful to each other throughout. They have a misunderstanding, but it will be resolved.)
