The Mage with a Trillion Years to Live

When the Demon King sets foot on human lands, the only ones standing against him are a young mage and a chicken. The Demon King sneers, “Humans really are pathetic. You sent only one young man here to die?” The boy merely smiles and points his black staff at the sky. A blazing red scythe, large enough to cover half the heavens, slices the Demon King in two like a stalk of grass. As the Demon King's body slowly vanishes on the wind, he summons the last of his strength to ask, “Who are you?” The boy replies without a change in expression, “Just an ordinary mage who's lived for a million years, doing whatever takes my fancy.”
