Synopsis

[Alternate history + political intrigue + scheming protagonist + transmigration + no System] In the fifth year of Chuyuan, Wang Yu is named Magistrate of Daxing for helping the emperor secure the throne. That year, Wang Yu is twenty and just beginning to show his talent. In the second year of Huanglong, Wang Yu suppresses a rebellion in Yan and is named Governor of Youzhou. That year, Wang Yu is twenty-two and rules as a regional warlord. In the fifth year of Huanglong, Wang Yu purges the emperor’s inner circle, deposes and installs emperors, and is named Chancellor of the Great Zhou, General of the Agile Cavalry, Pillar of the State, and Grandee with an office in the palace. That year, Wang Yu is twenty-five and holds sway over the entire Great Zhou court. In the third year of Ganlu, Wang Yu pacifies Hu Xia and unifies the north. He is promoted to Grand Tutor, granted the title Duke of Anzhou, appointed Commander of All Military Affairs Within and Beyond the Capital, and given the imperial yellow axe. He may wear his sword and shoes in the palace, walk without hurrying when attending court, and receive praise without his name being announced. That year, Wang Yu is twenty-eight, with power equal to the emperor’s. In the second year of Yongchu, Wang Yu destroys the Jin dynasty and unifies the realm. He is made Prince of Qin, granted the Nine Bestowments, and given a twelve-streamed crown and imperial banners. That year, Wang Yu is thirty, just one step away from becoming emperor. The following month, the emperor summons his trusted men and attempts to assassinate Wang Yu. Wang Yu storms the palace with his troops and demands an explanation. “Your Majesty, why are you rebelling?”

Anything is fine as long as it isn't brainless and the supporting characters don't suddenly lose all their intelligence.

Any Novels Where the Protagonist Is an Emperor?

Any stories with an emperor as the protagonist? Male or female is fine. I want to see the emperor's concubines competing for my favor from the emperor's point of view. Just thinking about it sounds so satisfying. Ideally, there shouldn't be too much court politics! Most importantly, the emperor shouldn't neglect the harem for the sake of one concubine!! I want to put myself in the emperor's shoes, hehe.
