Siheyuan: Devoting Myself to the Nation

In his previous life, he was a young doctor who worked himself to exhaustion saving people and fell asleep. When he woke up, he had transmigrated to the 1950s and become a resident of a Beijing courtyard compound, with a daily sign-in System bound to him. The country had just been founded, and American imperialism was still bent on destroying it, so he promptly joined the Chinese People’s Volunteers to do his part for the nation. After the war, he returned to the capital, where he continued contributing to the country while enjoying a good life of his own. To make the story flow better and highlight its key points, the author will add some things and change others that may not fit the historical setting. Readers are welcome to offer their thoughts.
