This book is like a window to France, allowing me to appreciate French history and culture. I like the brave Joan of Arc in the book. She fights for freedom and truth, which is admirable. And I hate Louis XIV. His luxury and tyranny are disgusting. Overall, though, this is an interesting book and worth reading.
