Midnight Fantasies

[Mutual secret crush + she runs, he pursues, and she has no chance of escape] A resilient, mature university counselor x a devoted, obsessive, loyal CEO Xia Jin had been Ning Yan's good friend for years, and had been secretly in love with him for just as long. He was the “chosen one” in everyone's eyes, while she was an utterly ordinary good student. The vast gulf between their status and positions kept Xia Jin from ever finding the courage to break through that barrier between them. At last, on a rainy night after graduation, she chose to give up. At the Chengda Medical School's 100th anniversary celebration, Xia Jin unexpectedly ran into Ning Yan again. Her former “good friend” had become the medical school's biggest “sugar daddy.” The school leaders instructed Xia Jin, “Make sure he has a good time. Give Mr. Ning whatever he asks for.” Xia Jin followed their orders to the letter, never expecting that one little slip would land her in Ning Yan's bed... After an accident, Xia Jin was expelled from school and set off alone to travel and clear her head. Thinking he had been abandoned once again, Ning Yan went mad for three days and nights, finally finding her at a mountain temple. On a rainy night just like the one years ago, he pinned her before a Buddha statue and made her swear, “Say it. Say you'll never leave me again...” You are the delusion that keeps growing in my heart in the stillness of the night., Ning Yan
