"There were sixpences all over the ground, but he looked up and saw the moon." Banker Charles, a middle-aged man with a successful career, suddenly abandoned his wife and children and ran away from home in order to pursue his secret dream of painting. He knows very well that every identity of a person is a kind of self-kidnapping, and only losing it is the way to freedom.
