My biggest dissatisfaction in reading this book is that Kitty never loved Walter. She didn't even think about it after Walter died. If she could resurrect Walter with a word, she would definitely say it. Oh my God! Shouldn't it be normal to say that I would rather lose ten years of my life and become a monk, or at least be a vegetarian for the rest of my life and copy the sutras a hundred times? Poor Walter! The biggest takeaway is not to challenge your own self-control. Even though Kitty recognizes Tang Sheng's true face, she still can't resist her vulgar desires. We ordinary people may not be better than her. If we know what bad hobbies we have, we should just stay away from such hobbies! Never overestimate your self-control.
