"The Great Gatsby" is a typical novel delayed by its title. It ranks second among the 100 English novels you should read in the 20th century. Bill Gates and Hemingway are big fans of this book, and Haruki Murakami also admires this novel very much. The first time I read this book was to practice English reading, I read the original English version. Gatsby is amazing because even though he is full of lies, he is still very sincere. He severely criticized the illusion of the American dream, and also used his own tragedy to prove that the mere pursuit of wealth can never realize the dreams in people's hearts. But no matter what, this book can touch almost everyone, in many different subtle ways. I really like the movie "Midnight in Paris" and I was equally impressed by the characters Fitzgerald and Zelda who appeared in it.
