This book is great! Mr. Lao She brought the characters to life! Everyone in the Qi family has a distinct personality, which impressed me deeply. I especially like Qi Ruixuan, he is kind and responsible, and sticks to his beliefs in difficult situations. There is also the annoying Guan Xiaohe, whose flattery and hypocrisy make people angry just by looking at him. This book shows the life picture of that era through the story of Xiaoyangquan Hutong. It is worth reading!
