The Forgotten Days of Youth

We used to be full of spirit and ambition,

We used to stride with our heads held high,

We used to pass through those days together.

That year, we lived through turbulent times,

That year, we wrote with all our might.

And what year was that year, anyway?

Perhaps we were once young and naive,

Perhaps we were once in the prime of our lives,

Perhaps all those maybes were just maybes.

You, far away, how are you doing?
