Why Take It So Seriously?

(Horror world + eerie taboos) (Clown-inspired + ultimate prankster + absurdist) A synopsis pretending to be serious: Give those bleeding-heart do-gooders some brutal choices, a little ignorance and regret. Huh? Why did the character arc go backward? The sweet, chubby one turned evil... Then give the villains an adorable kitten, only for them to strangle the little kitty (<^ω^>) themselves because they have to save more people. (=@__@=) Whoops, got the whole thing backwards... Add a dash of glorious, noble conviction to the supervillains, give them just a little love and a few bonds, and then, damn it, everything blows up... What a mess. Wait, where's the protagonist? @Chen Lun, what are you doing? What's the protagonist's status? Chen Lun was forced into view. Slowly, he edged along the centerline until all that remained in the frame was his gaunt, pale face. The corners of his mouth gradually lifted into his trademark smile. “Uh, heh heh, um, I dunno. I figured nobody had told me to start filming yet...” “Where was I? Oh, I'm the immortal God of Wine. Wow, immortal. This is an interesting world, so I'm just here to play. I just wanna have fun. Nothing wrong with that, bro! 666!” “I mean, um, haha, no, hahaha, you actually believe that?” “Why do you have to take it so seriously?” “Don't forget, don't forget, what can't kill me, hee hee hee, will only make me, hahahahaha, even weirder!” “My name is Chen Lun. Come with me, and sink forever into this world.”
