Great Qin: Starting with Transporting Grain from Handan

(Original title: Qin's Journey, but it was already taken, so...)

In the fifty-third year of King Zhaoxiang of Qin's reign, it has been three years since Yiren escaped back to Qin, while five-year-old Ying Zheng remains in Handan with his mother.

Chen Sui transmigrates as the fourteen-year-old son of a Zhao carriage driver. His family is counting on the fare from this trip to make ends meet.

But after the rain, their cart gets stuck, and they nearly lose both cargo and lives. When they finally manage to save the grain, they discover the manifest lists three more sacks than they actually have.

The Chen family cannot afford to pay for the loss, so they have no choice but to follow the trail of the discrepancy to the south of the city.

The people living in that mansion turn out to be Yiren's wife and children, left behind in Zhao.

Chen Sui knows the roads and how to handle a carriage. He also knows how to get grain delivered on time.

But right now, he cannot even recognize all the characters on the wooden slips, and he may not be able to protect his father's wages.

From a cartload of grain on the roads of Handan to the long supply lines of Qin's campaigns against the Six Kingdoms; from fighting to secure a single carriage fare for his father to standing beside Ying Zheng through military merit. He will steadily make his way along every difficult road.

This is Qin's Journey.
