Smoke Silk

[For beginners] [Slow-paced] [Meticulously detailed]

Smoke and Silk is the only novel I've stuck with since I was thirteen, when I kept abandoning every story I wrote. I don't want to skip over any part of how the story unfolds, so even the side plots can run a little long. The joy of finishing my first sustained writing project is unlike anything else. Whether or not I have a talent for this, I want to treat it as a chance to grow and set sail.

Smoke and Silk tells the story of a heroine born into misery, and how she defies fate and escapes the mire. Along the way, she discovers what she truly wants to do and falls in love with the person who will become her partner. Though fate lends her a hand, it is her courage that cuts through the hazy smoke and opens a path to clear skies.
