Her Husband Abandoned Her After She Was Burned

The story takes place in the 1990s. A married couple drove a three-wheeled vehicle to buy vegetables wholesale, but it plunged into a ditch and overturned. The boiling water in the vehicle poured all over the wife, Chu Limei, scalding her entire body. Instead of taking her to the hospital, her husband sent her back to her parents’ home. He told her family to take care of her injuries and bring her back once she had healed. If they couldn’t, he would divorce her.
