Synopsis

Five races exist in the universe: humans, gods, demons, devils, and ghosts. These five races established strict agreements back in ancient Egypt, promising not to interfere with one another. Even today, Earth hides many organizations dedicated to maintaining the seemingly peaceful status quo, though it is as precarious as a nest beneath the eaves, with danger lurking everywhere. The Five Races: Humans: No introduction needed, right? Gods: Highly advanced extraterrestrial beings from the center of the Milky Way, existing in a higher dimension than us. Demons: Evolved animals that have long hidden in remote wilderness, such as deep forests and mountains. Devils: Strange creatures from parallel universes. They often ride dragons down to Earth and love to eat demon beasts. Ghosts: Commonly thought to be the souls of the dead, but in reality, they are humans in a quantum state. Major Organizations: The Yaoling Bureau: Handles many special affairs on Earth and maintains peace and stability. The Space-Time Administration: Travels across different eras and dimensions to maintain stability and negotiate with the Five Races. The Ninja Group: A mysterious organization that has produced many Dragon-Riding Ninjas who serve the devils. A powerful organization of observers: The superior organization of the Space-Time Administration, with an influential background.

Hard Science Fiction That Goes Cosmic in Scale: No Mecha or Monsters, It Has to Be Hard Sci-Fi

It has to be grounded in reality or have a unique theoretical framework, like *The Galactic Empire* or *The Three-Body Problem*... but... it needs to have that web-novel feel... Aaaah, I’m so torn (๑•́ ₃ •̀๑). Cuties, please stop recommending *The Three-Body Problem*! I’ve definitely read a masterpiece like that.

Hard Sci-Fi, Interstellar Travel or Drifting, and Alien Civilizations

I don't like stories that are constantly at war, fighting from beginning to end, from the Solar System all the way to the Milky Way. I prefer nuanced portrayals of alien societies and storylines, as if observing another civilization.

There Are No Pure Science Fiction Novels Anymore, Are There? Come Argue With Me

The streets are packed with transmigration, reborn protagonists, overpowered heroes, and Systems. It's hard not to suspect these are written by AI. Is there any real hard science fiction out there?

Preferably not the starship civilization trope I've seen a million times.
