The Healer Without a Heart

[Early story: everyday life, healing, and romance; later: anyway, it's all gone] Three thousand willows drift through a fleeting dream; a lifetime of misty rain finds its way into dreams. In the ten-thousand-trillionth year after the birth of the primordial universe, he is reborn with his memories intact in this life. His great undertaking is complete, and all he has to do is wait for her return! But is that really how things will turn out? Can he fulfill his long-cherished wish in this life? See how the heartless physician heals one pitiful young woman after another in this life as he waits for her return. All that is beautiful will ultimately return to nothingness after the end of seven days. What is fated to be yours will come to you; what is not fated to be yours should not be forced. Can he and she truly be together in this life?
