Tomb Raiding: Protection and Redemption

“The magpie taking over the dove’s nest” might describe him, though it wasn’t something he wanted. Just as Wang Yue was about to be released from his System, his original body was too damaged for him to return to it. He had planned to spend the rest of his life in some random world, but a disturbance in the flow of time and space caused the System to send him by accident into the young Wang Pangzi’s body in the Daomu world. Until now, the System had only implanted his soul after a client had passed away. This unusual situation caused their souls to clash. As Wang Pangzi’s soul was injured and on the verge of disappearing, he used half of his own spiritual essence to protect Wang Pangzi’s fading soul. (Host, his soul is too fragile after that clash. You can only slowly nurse it back to health. Once it recovers, you’ll be able to give him a new body.) Pang-ge, I’m sorry for taking your body. I’ll give you a new life, make sure you live without worries, and protect the people you wanted to protect for the rest of your life. [Warning: Pairings include Huaxie and others. This story breaks up Pingxie and Heihua, so fans of those pairings, beware. You can leave now. Beware, beware, beware. I’ve already said it, so don’t read halfway through and then ask why I suddenly broke up a pairing or complain about it, and then start cursing my ancestors! I told you not to read it. My ancestors shouldn’t have to take the blame. If you don’t want to read it, then don’t. Keep cursing my ancestors and they might come visit you in the middle of the night.]
