Tomb Raiding: A Miser's Strange Adventure

Everyone in Beijing's upper circles knows the Xie family has a foreign-born young lady who never grows up. She's not only greedy, she's got a screw loose. If you cross her, she'll chase you down and bite you for three days. If you cross her brother, she'll kill you on the spot. She's greedy, stingy, petty, and vindictive to the extreme!

After her reputation spread far and wide, someone came up with the nickname Old Hag of the Heavenly Mountain. Some people with a death wish even called her:

The Xie family's mad dog.

But Bei He thought she was perfectly normal, maybe just a little unwell.

In the literal sense.

After all, anyone who hadn't grown an inch in decades couldn't be normal. But Bei He was easygoing about it. Her brother would always bail her out, so she could just live the life of a spoiled rich kid, look after her little treasures, and spend her days in peace.

But then she discovered that her friend had run into a fat guy and a bespectacled little guy, and her own life went wild, like a runaway horse, turning completely upside down.

As she ventured deeper into the heart of the storm, Bei He discovered that she had all sorts of secrets of her own!

Bei He: Wait, what?! I went out for a bit, so how did I get kicked out of the human race???

This book is also known as How Come Everyone in the Xie Family Is Short?

Another title: The Legend of the Shorties: Tomb Raiders (This one's definitely more inspired. I told my friend I wanted it as the cover, but they shot me down w.)

[Reading guide: jumps up to punch people in the knees + an unknown level of manners, gets stronger when faced with the strong + nasty personality and loves stirring up trouble = this book's heroine]

Yeah. I have no idea what my synopsis is even saying. Anyway, it's probably a no-CP story where you can ship whoever you want. I'm not very good at writing romance between men and women, so I think most of it will be about family and friendship, maybe.
