This book was written by Ran Xuefeng, a famous scholar on febrile diseases, who taught his apprentice Guo Shikui. Mr. Guo handed over the unfinished manuscript to his apprentice Professor Weng Weiliang and asked him to add annotations to the completed manuscript before publishing it. Professor Weng Weiliang, one of hundreds of Chinese medicine practitioners across the country and a famous teacher of traditional Chinese medicine in the capital, led his students, Professor Su Qingmin and Professor Li Qiuyan, to complete this book. This book compiles all the same syndromes in each article of Treatise on Febrile Diseases together. The syndromes, pulse conditions and the original text of the article are attached below. From this, the significance of various symptoms in each article of the book, the relationship between the primary symptoms and associated syndromes, and the treatment principles and methods of each disease are clearly understood, making it easier to understand Zhongjing's principles and rules of syndrome differentiation and treatment. The innovation and characteristics of this book are the exploration of combinations of similar symptoms and the analysis of similar prescriptions, and the work that reflects the advantages of clinical originality for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment and the consensus on curative effect.
