Synopsis

This is the second book in the Interstellar Legends series, I Am a Trisolaran, also known as The Age of the Interstellar Three Kingdoms. It attempts to portray the standoff, conflict, and communication among three interstellar civilizations from the perspectives of the Trisolarans, humanity, and the expeditionary force of the Cygnus Scorpion race, while also bringing you more information about various alien civilizations. The year 2024 in the Earth calendar is unanimously regarded by later interstellar civilizations as the beginning of the Age of the Interstellar Three Kingdoms. An alien spacecraft launches an attack on Earth. Humanity sends its elite space force into battle, capturing the alien ship and its leader in the asteroid belt. Top scientists are quickly dispatched to study them, and discover that an unknown mecha civilization had already stolen the solar energy storage device before the human commando team attacked. The prospect of humanity soon leaping from a Level 0.81 civilization to a planetary civilization invigorates human society as a whole. Meanwhile, humanity also discovers the Cygnus alien expeditionary force, far away in the celestial bodies of the Luhman 16 brown dwarf binary system. Earth is suddenly plunged into the abyss of interstellar war. At the same time, the Trisolaran civilization, which originated along the terminator of the ice-and-fire planet Proxima Centauri b, has advanced through years of arduous struggle from a cave civilization to the planetary level. The Trisolarans also discover the Cygnus alien expeditionary force and begin taking a series of countermeasures, actively preparing for war. The Cygnus interstellar expeditionary force continues to stream into the Luhman 16 system.
