JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Second World

This is a fanfic that borrows the Stand concept from Araki's old JoJo series. It has little to do with the world or characters of JoJo (though that might change, but I won't write about them directly, since the Joestar family's power levels are hard to pin down and difficult to write). In a town plagued by frequent child abductions, a gravedigger with deep convictions, "Giotto Jobaka," suddenly encounters a Stand User and awakens his own Stand, [Second World]. Before long, he is inexplicably drawn into the cases, meeting Stand Users one after another and defeating enemy after enemy. As the enemies keep coming, the truth behind the children's disappearances gradually comes to light. The JoJo series has had a profound influence on me, and lately I've been starving for more, so this book was born. I'll write it with my own interpretation, without simply copying the original, while still trying to capture its spirit and flavor. Who knows what kind of madness I'll end up sharing with Araki? I don't think I could make a character lick a toilet, though. I'll include more everyday-life scenes, such as fun moments showing what Stand Users do with their Stands in daily life, as well as simple sparring matches between Stand Users. Each chapter will be about 3,000 to 4,000 words. Chapters featuring Stand battles will be a little longer. I'll do my best to update once a day.
