The young Siddhartha discovered that life would always involve experiencing all kinds of pain. In order to seek relief, he began to wander alone.
On the way, he listened to the teachings of the elders, explored the mysteries of lust, and had a lot of wealth... After almost exhausting the experience of both spirit and body, Siddhartha was still in deep pain and could not be relieved. In despair, he came to the river and planned to end his life, but at this moment he saw the wonderful harmony of the world...
If you have seen through that life is meant to experience pain, wander with Siddhartha, and you will already be on the road to happiness.

This book resonated with me very much. Siddhartha's wandering journey is like a portrayal of our lives, we all have to go through pain. I especially hate the hypocritical Brahmin in the book, whose teachings cannot liberate Siddhartha at all. I had my moments of despair, but I was inspired to see Siddhartha find happiness in the end. As the book says, only when we see through the pain in life can we truly move towards the path to happiness. This book is well worth reading!
This book is full of Zen. People with little experience may not be able to read it thoroughly and cannot practice Zen. After reading it, you can take time to settle it. If you go back and read it again, you will definitely gain something.
