The Floating Life Inn

Hu Niangzi is the last nine-tailed fox in all the heavens and earth. A thousand years ago, her husband died for the sake of all living beings. She begged every god and Buddha in the heavens to give him a slender chance at life. A thousand years later, a new shop called the Floating Life Pavilion opens in Ningcheng, selling all kinds of delicious food. They say you can eat the one thing you have craved most in your life there, and that the Seven Emotions Lamp in Hu Niangzi's hands can grant the wish you have wanted most to fulfill. Humans, gods, demons, and ghosts flock to the pavilion. Come along with Heng Niang and her companions as they sample every flavor under heaven and witness the seven emotions of the human world.
