The Fall of an Empire

A very good book. I have read Western books before. This book tells Chinese history from a Chinese perspective and how the feudal system came to an end. The context of this book is clear, the theme is clear, and the views are easy to understand. Through Yi Zhongtian's narration, I understood why history developed like this, and it was not an accident. Moreover, this book not only talks about historical facts, but also thinks about the direction of the political system from the perspective of the entire culture. History is not isolated and is closely related to cultural politics. This book is very meaningful!

Yi Zhongtian was born in Changsha in 1947 and worked in Xinjiang. Taught at Wuhan University and Xiamen University. Now living in a town in the south of the Yangtze River, he devotes himself to writing "History of China". The Qin Empire was born, and China entered a power society. The Qing dynasty fell and the imperial system withdrew from the stage. The empire looks strong, but is actually fragile. It will perish due to internal and external troubles, and it will also decay due to prosperity. The entire imperial system is the logical destiny of the empire. The entire imperial system is the logical destiny of the empire. What changes did this system undergo in these two thousand one hundred and thirty-two years, and how did it lead to the end of the empire?

I have always been curious about what kind of journey China has gone through during its thousands of years of history. Did we have any other choice during that period? The book abbreviated by Teacher Yi Zhongtian undoubtedly answered our doubts and gave the answer. Teacher Yi Zhongtian's book is very profound and talks about the essence. At the same time, he also provides a good review and summary of the system that China has implemented for thousands of years. Teacher Yi Zhongtian used easy-to-understand, humorous expressions that changed my understanding of history, thus opening up my historical horizons. It was a hearty read, and I still felt like I had more to say after reading it. It's a book worth reading.

This book resonates with me very much, just like those friends around me who once neglected their studies. They only realized the importance of knowledge after they came out of society. Mr. Yi Zhongtian's criticism of ancient China's political system in the book is really profound and made me understand the reasons for the demise of the imperial system. He said, "History always makes people miss me." This sentence impressed me deeply and made me cherish the learning opportunities now even more. I think this book is not only suitable for people who are interested in history, but also for young people like me. Reading it will be very rewarding.

I have always liked Yi Zhongtian's books. The whole book feels a bit like a paper to me. It is mainly analysis and supplemented by narrative. It provides an in-depth analysis of the reasons for the occurrence, development and demise of the imperial system. Taking the political system of ancient China as the axis and based on the author's understanding of people's hearts and human nature, it strips off the coats of the imperial system layer by layer, revealing to readers the inevitability of its emergence and demise. And at the end of the book, it points out the way out for democracy and republican system after the continuation of the imperial system. While analyzing it, the book also provides readers with many very useful thoughts. It is a book worth reading.

Our evaluation of books will always differ due to personal differences, but the same thing is that we get some unique insights from it.

Definitely a good book worth reading over and over again

This is a strange book

Read about the feudal system and the county system. It seems that I vaguely remembered the content of the history teacher's lectures when I was in middle school. Chinese culture is profound and profound, and I never tire of it.

Teacher Yi Zhongtian, an ideological mentor!
