Queen Elizabeth: the Supreme Beauty and the Rise of the Tudor Dynasty

Elizabeth was born in Greenwich, England in 1533. Her father was Henry VIII, who led the Reformation in England. He succeeded to the throne in 1558 and properly handled the war with France, tense relations with Scotland and Spain, and reconciled domestic religious conflicts. In 1560 she concluded the Treaty of Edinburgh, which provided for a peaceful settlement of disputes with Scotland.
