"Diagnostic Samadhi" is a work on pulse theory. The full name is "Old Man Shi Wan's Diagnostic Sect Samadhi". One volume, twelve articles in total. Written by Zhang Luo of the Qing Dynasty and compiled by Zhang Deng, the book was completed in 1689. The first part clarifies the purpose of writing this book, and criticizes some previous works on pulse theory, stating that "careless entry into the sect may lead to heresy", and strongly states that "I should use the water of samadhi to cleanse away the dust." Therefore I wrote this book.

This book "Diagnostic Samadhi" is very interesting! It criticized some mistakes of the predecessors, and also mentioned those doctors who only knew family traditions or extensive knowledge but did not know how to adapt. It reminds me of "Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Miscellaneous Diseases", which is all about the mysteries of medicine. But I hate those people who kill innocent people under the pretext of treating people. They are simply the seeds of hell! This book is like a bright light in the medical field, pointing us to the right path.
