Journey to the West: The Jade Emperor Eavesdrops and Asks, "What Is My System?"

Ji Yunchen transmigrates into Fengxian County in Journey to the West, and mistakes the Jade Emperor, who has descended to the mortal world, for his nephew.

Who could have guessed that the Jade Emperor can actually hear his thoughts?

"Nephew, you're here!"

By my reckoning, that blockhead Jade Emperor should be arriving in Fengxian County soon.

Jade Emperor: ??? Who's insulting Me?

"There's going to be a terrible drought here soon! Hurry and flee with your uncle!"

That idiot Jade Emperor got played by Buddhism and is going to punish the people of Fengxian County.

Jade Emperor: I'm innocent!

"I've already found you somewhere to go."

If all else fails, I'll send you to become a monk. Buddhism is destined to flourish anyway, so at least you won't starve.

Jade Emperor: Is My Heavenly Court doomed?

Later, the Heavenly Court replaces Buddhism.

The Jade Emperor sits high on his throne in the Lingxiao Palace: Uncle, look at me! Now can you tell me what the System is?!
