Dark Journey to the West: From the Start, I Had the Monkey King in My Grip

The Monkey would never forget how the Baldie smashed the Five Elements Mountain with one punch, grabbed him by the throat, and asked,

"Are you coming with me to fetch the scriptures in the West, or should I send you to the West myself?"

"Are you coming with me to fetch the scriptures in the West, or should I send you to the West myself?"

Hearing the Baldie's words, the Monkey wanted to curse. Why would someone like you need me to come along?

Did the monsters along the eighty-one thousand miles want to die or something?

Was Guanyin actually telling me to protect the monsters along the way?

Under the Baldie's fearsome authority, the Monkey made a decision he never would have made before: he begged for mercy.
