A science-fiction, post-apocalyptic setting, with a viral outbreak.

Pure-blood humans hold the dominant position in society. A small number of people still refuse to recognize intelligent machines as human, considering them a different species.

Intelligent machines are artificial intelligent mechanical beings. The Federation has passed the Intelligent Machine Protection Act and recognizes them as part of humanity. Even so, a few extremists still regard them as machines. After the virus breaks out, some humans stubbornly insist that the Alpha Virus was created by intelligent machines to seize more living space. The ridiculous thing is that a great many people agree with this claim.

A Host infected with the Alpha Virus will die within ten to thirty minutes. The virus also attaches itself to electronic devices within a radius of ten to thirty meters. Note: This includes any device, from phones to cars, of all sizes. Note 2: The virus preferentially infects organic humans, while intelligent machines have some resistance to it.
