Two hundred years ago, the continent was thrown into chaos by a wicked force. Countless lives were lost, and corpses littered the land.
The Soul Corpse Hall had two envoys, four guardians, eight regulars, and sixteen attendants, all of them utterly vicious. They enslaved souls and commanded corpses, refining the living beings of the continent into an army of soul corpses.
As the entire continent teetered on the brink of becoming a living hell, a young man who had cultivated all five attributes stormed the Soul Corpse Hall alone and ultimately demolished it. After the battle, the young man mysteriously disappeared as well. Not long afterward, five sects appeared on the continent: Thunderclap, Blazing Fire, Swift Wind, Azure Wood, and Thick Earth. Legend has it that this man founded them, and later generations called the vanished young man the Ancestor of the Five Elements.
The young Zhang Fan came from the Blazing Fire Sect, one of the Five Elements sects, but crossed a line they would not tolerate and was expelled by his master, Zhu Yan. By a twist of fate, he became the first person since the Ancestor of the Five Elements to possess all five attributes.
Two hundred years later, the Soul Corpse Hall rose from the ashes and returned, step by step...
