The Five Elements Sweep the Six Realms

The vast continent was prosperous. Qingyang Temple in the east, Brahma Sound Temple in the west, the Five Elements Sect in the south, and the Heavenly Blade Sect in the north: each faction thrived in its own domain.

Who could have guessed that two hundred years ago, a vicious force had thrown the continent into chaos? Living beings were slaughtered, and corpses littered the land.

The Corpse Soul Hall had two envoys, four guardians, eight attendants, and sixteen servants, all of them utterly evil. They enslaved souls and drove corpses, refining the continent's living beings into an army of corpse-souls.

Just as the entire continent was about to become a living hell, a young man who cultivated all five elements entered the Corpse Soul Hall alone and ultimately destroyed it. After that battle, the young man mysteriously vanished. Before long, five sects appeared on the continent: Thunder, Blazing Fire, Gale, Greenwood, and Thick Earth. They were said to have been founded by that man, and later generations called the vanished youth the Ancestor of the Five Elements.

The young Zhang Fanliao came from the Blazing Fire Sect of the Five Elements, but after crossing the sects' bottom line, he was expelled by his master, Zhu Yan. By a twist of fate, he became the first person since the Ancestor of the Five Elements to unite all five attributes within himself.

Two hundred years later, the Corpse Soul Hall rose from the ashes and returned, gradually devouring the continent's major factions in an attempt to reclaim its former glory.

Zhang Fanliao would become yet another Ancestor of the Five Elements, destined to end the Corpse Soul Hall's dream.
