High Martial: I Kill the Emperor with One Sword from the Start

"My name is Ye Ming. My father is the Prince of Yan. He has guarded the border for twenty years and commands an army of four hundred thousand cavalry.

Because his achievements have made the emperor wary, I was sent from Youzhou to the imperial capital, Luoyang, when I was three. I have lived here as a hostage for seventeen years.

Now the emperor's health is failing. For the sake of his successors, my father has to die.

And I can only spend the rest of my life as a nominal imperial son-in-law, living a life of idleness and luxury.

Just as my father was about to drink the poisoned wine sent by the emperor,

my System finally activated.

"Kill someone blessed with great fortune, or do something that shocks the world, to earn points. You can use them to summon powerful figures, or have them possess you?"

Looking at the emperor before me, I fell into deep thought.

Killing an emperor in front of countless people...

That should earn me quite a few points, right?"

I'm terrible at writing summaries. The story takes off after three chapters.

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual events or people is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
