Tang Dynasty: I'm Really Just a Merchant

Xu Zheng, a street thug,

accidentally obtained a mighty System

and transmigrated to the mid-Tang dynasty.

All he wanted was to use the System to get rich.

Greedy and lecherous, yet righteous to the core,

he thrived in the business world with the System

and became one of the richest men around.

An unexpected property speculation scandal

forced him into political strife.

Just as his official career was taking off,

the An Lushan Rebellion broke out.

Forced to raise troops and defend the emperor,

Xu Zheng stood in the Lingxiao Palace with a helpless look on his face and said, "I'm really just a businessman. I never wanted to be emperor!"
